Lauren & Calvin
For Lauren and Calvin’s wedding, I worked as a secondary photographer, complementing the lead photographer while taking a more observational approach to the day. The aim was to capture the authentic moments happening naturally around the main photography — from the atmosphere and interactions to the quieter moments in between.
The images were shot with a documentary feel, allowing me to work unobtrusively and pick up moments from a different perspective without interrupting the flow of the day. The editing follows a more filmic style, with lifted shadows, softer contrast and a slightly muted feel. A selection of black and white images adds a more timeless, editorial touch, particularly suited to the setting of their destination wedding.
